Jordan Hare Stadium

Auburn, AL

PROJECT SCOPE

The audio system is part of a renovation at Auburn’s Jordan – Hare Stadium using state of the art electronics and Speaker Systems.  The system was designed to operate at very High Sound Pressure Levels to project concert quality sound to 86,063 people.

The system utilizes the EAW KF900 series Speakers.  The KF900 is based on line array technology that is capable of producing levels in excess of 150dB.  The QSC PLX amplifiers provide sufficient power to the speakers.  The processing is achieved via Media Matrix and Yamaha O1V mixing console.

Due to the incredibly long distance between the various processing locations, many thousand feet of fiber optic cable is used.  The referees are outfitted with SEC approved Telex FMR wireless microphones.  The cheerleaders are also using the Telex wireless microphones for pregame activities.
